Professor Onyinyechi Kamalu is a distinguished academic, agronomist, and consultant with extensive experience in pedo-environmental management, land use, and soil science. He has built a reputable career spanning universities, research institutes, and environmental consultancy firms.
With over 35 years of experience, Professor Kamalu has significantly contributed to research, education, and consultancy in environmental compliance and resource management. His dedication extends to participatory rural appraisals, community development, and conflict resolution in the Niger Delta region.
In addition to his academic endeavors, he is a passionate plantation farmer, producing plantain, pawpaw, medicinal crops, fish, and poultry products. Professor Kamalu is deeply committed to mentoring young professionals and advancing sustainable practices in agriculture and environmental science.
